Sephora + Ulta Haul

We went in for concealer and left with everything except concealer. We stocked up on some of our faves and picked up some newbies (we took a couple pics of some of the new items we ‘ve never featured on here before). Here is everything we got and why!

LEAH

Sebastian Shaper Plus hairspray This is my absolutely favorite hairspray because it doesn’t have the classic aerosol smell. It also isn’t stiff but keeps my curls all day. There are different intensity levels so you can find what works best for your hair.

First Aid Beauty Mattifying Gel Moisturizer I’m still not sure what this product is for but it got amazing reviews for the skin improving ingredients it contains which is supposed to help reduce redness and anti-aging. It’s lightweight and fragrance free which are both usually deal breakers for me.

IGK Charcoal Detox dry shampoo I was in the checkout line at Sephora and picked this up bc Emily Gemma tried it and loved it. I used it the other day when I was too tired to wash my hair and I liked it! I’m not sure it was much different than something less expensive but it doesn’t have any white cast and doesn’t feel gross and sticky.

First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer I’m always looking for new primers and this got amazing reviews so I thought I would try it. I’ve never tried anything from First Aid Beauty and I was intrigued by the very long name. It promises to brighten, hydrate, and smooth and I’ve used it a few times and it helps keep my makeup look nice all day which is what I really care about. I’m also very easily sold by pretty packaging.

Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara This is my FAVE mascara. I love the brush and it honestly makes my lashes so beautiful and long. It’s actually the only high end mascara I like.

Marc Jacobs Sugar Sugar I live for this color. It’s such a beautiful nudey pink and the consistency isn’t sticky which is obviously the worst. My other fave is White Russian by Buxom but they were out.
Tanning mitts Don’t buy expensive tanning mitts! They’re literally all the same. These are $5 and I stock up when Ulta has their buy two get two free for Ulta brand products. After you’ve used them a few times just put soap on them and run it under warm water and let it air dry.

Duo lash glue I went in to get House of Lashes glue so I didn’t have to order it online but they were out. I really just want something with a wand bc it’s significantly easier to apply rather than a tube. I’ve used it a few times and love it! I’ve been wearing false lashes for about seven years so I’ve used different types of lash glue and I would def recommend.
Invisibobble The only hair ties I’ve been wearing for months. They keep your hair secured but are less damaging and don’t leave a mark. They’re strong too- I use them even when I have four tracks in my hair. I only have clear but they have other colors. I get mine at Ulta and they come in 3 for $8!

Batiste Dry Shampoo I can’t live without dry shampoo. I’ve always used Batiste, but this was my first time trying these two specifically. I wanted to try the Free & Clear since it doesn’t have any added fragrance (which is always damaging to hair and skin – try and minimize it when you can!). And I LOVE this tinted one – no white cast!!!
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara I’ve bought so many of these over the years I’ve lost count. This gives you such beautiful, long lashes. I will use this forever. Holy grail status for sure.
Benefit Hoola Lite Bronzer For all my fair beauties, this bronzer is for you. I use it every single day to brighten up my face a bit. Never orange. Always applies beautifully. I think this is the 3rd or 4th one I’ve bought! *When I hit pan and can’t use it for my face, I keep it and use the rest for a beautiful eye shadow! I literally use every single bit of it*
Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer I’ve heard this is amazing and I FINALLY found it at Ulta! So excited to try! Hoping this can be a drug store dupe for me 🙂
Dior Lip Glow in the Shade Raspberry This is definitely one of those products that’s a *want,* not a need, but it’s SO BEAUTIFUL. I’ve gotten to the point where I can’t live without it. It’s perfect for every day wear, when I want a beautiful lip color that I can wear to work (and really anywhere).
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream I love this stuff. I have sensitive, combination skin and I use it on my face year round. I’ve repurchased this countless times as well.
