When I leave for work in the morning I need my makeup to last all day in the Chicago weather and trust that it won’t get flaky or gross. So this is my city proof twelve hour locked in look!
Primer– This is a must for me because I just need something for my foundation to stick to. Right now I’ve been loving the MAC Prep & Prime.
Foundation- See my favorite foundations here
Powder- I use MAC Studio Fix powder foundation to add more coverage; my shade is Nc30. I won’t say I’m super confident that’s my correct shade but I always color match myself and this is what looked good in the artificial lighting of the MAC store!
Setting spray: Once I’m completely finished, I set my face with a spray from MAC or this one from Cover FX that I’m obsessed with. I apply so many products, especially powder products, so I feel setting everything is necessary and helps it from looking cakey.
Once I’m out: I make sure I touch up on the reg. These oil blotters are my life savers. I use them as minimally as possible (so once every two hours) and BLOT don’t wipe because you will wipe your makeup off. Don’t listen to the front of the package which tells you that you won’t. And then I touch up throughout the day with powder.
